Paul was born in Lansing, Michigan in November 1983 with multiple health impairments and disabilities. Paul graduated high school in 2002. While in high school, he participated in many school activities including Student Council and the basketball team. He completed a degree in Public Policy from Penn State in 2008. During his undergraduate years, Paul spent a summer interning in the United States Senate. In 2005, Paul was a part of a group of youth advocates that started the Pennsylvania Youth Leadership Network, which to this day actively supports youth and young adults in transition.
Professionally, Paul has served as Berks County LINK Coordinator from 2011 until 2012. He was responsible for agency outreach and organizing county trainings. From 2013 until 2016, Paul was Community Building Coordinator at the Lehigh Valley Center for Independent Living. In this role, Paul oversaw a $275,000 Pennsylvania Developmental Disabilities Council grant focused on cross-disability efforts and intersectionality.
In November 2016, Paul opened PF Strategies, LLC. PF Strategies specializes in supporting agencies serving the disability community with advocacy, organization, and strategic planning. In his spare time, Paul is active in his church community. In 2015, Paul was elected to the Board of Directors of the Palmyra Area School District. Paul currently lives outside Palmyra with his girlfriend Thalia and their 2 dogs, Abby and Conrad.
